Mini projector guide: what the numbers really mean
Mini projector listings are full of big numbers, and the most misleading one is 4K. It usually means the projector accepts a 4K signal, while the picture itself is shown at its native resolution. That native figure is the one to compare.
Based on listed specifications, not hands-on tests. Links are partner links.
1. Sharper picture

It lists native 1080p, which gives a noticeably finer picture than 720p. It runs Android 14 and has an adjustable stand with automatic keystone correction.
2. Short distance in small rooms

Its 0.8:1 throw ratio makes a large picture from a short distance, and the stand rotates 180°. The native resolution is 1280 x 720.
Which one to choose
For films, native 1080p is the better target. For a small bedroom, a short throw can matter more. Either way, plan to watch in a darkened room, and check that your streaming apps work on the projector.
